2010 AT&T  DISC
GOLF SERIES
Tour Goals:

Increase the visibility of Disc Golf across Kentucky and Tennessee.
Encourage players to travel to other Kentucky and Tennessee courses / events.
Promote new courses and encourage new players to play in competitive (PDGA) events.
Promote The region as the hot bed of disc golf, and a destination for disc golf tourism.
Show sponsors the value of disc golf as a marketing tool with numbers and demographics of players.


For the Players:

May play in any division offered, and get points in more than one division (IE: Advanced and Open).
Can accumulate points for year series championship titles.
Points will be awarded based on finish, with ties both getting higher point total.
First: 20, Second 15, Third: 12, Fourth: 10, Fifth: 9, Sixth: 8, Seventh: 7, 8th through 13th: 6 to 1 point.
ALL finishes in a division will be used for year end total.
Year End ties for first will be broken based on head to head results during year.



From Bluegrass Disc Golf

Obtain tour sponsorships, and add a minimum of $200 in per event for prizes or players packages bonus.
Pay PDGA registration fee and submit all results to PDGA so players can get ratings and PDGA points.
Keep up with series points / payouts on web page. (

The 2010 AT&T Disc Golf Tour

Details for 2010 tour:

Non-PDGA Novice Division offered at most new
courses.  Play one or both rounds for trophies.
 
Receive two disc and a mini for entry fee.


More "B-tier" Amateur division events for those
players chasing PDGA points and to better reflect
the payouts.

Points awarded through 13th place, in each event
and all played in events count towards total.

Series awards will be custom disc trophies. (the
winners likely have plenty of disc by then)
.  Other
prizes will be awarded based on sales of Champion
Fund Raising Disc - all proceeds of the 2010 CFR
disc go to year-end payout.


Shotgun starts on most events, field limits to 72
players.
