Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission presents: The 2023 Kentucky State Disc Golf Championships.
The 15th Annual Madisonville Open for 2023 will be the Home of the Kentucky State Disc Golf Championships.
All Pros, MA1, MA2, MA40, MA50, MA55 will play three rounds at Mahr Park Championship Course. One round a day with tee times Friday-Sunday. [click here for map and OB list]
All other amateur divisions will play 2 rounds at City Park Saturday (shotgun starts) and one round at City Park Sunday (tee times). [click here for map and OB list]
Over $3,000 added to pro purse! Big amateur players package from Discraft for the first 80 players: Three discs: Smoke Buzzz, and you pick a Z and an ESP mold of your choice. PLUS tee shirt if you register by September 7th.
AM payout: on line or on site (your choice).
Pro entry fee: $124.00. Amateur entry fee: $94.00.

SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY Sept. 28 – MAHR PARK POOL: Tee times start at 9am. Order: MA2, MA55, MA50, MA40, MA1, Pros (oldest divisions first – MPO last). Check in with starter at hole 1 / practice basket area 15 minutes prior to your tee time.

Note Amateur Divisions: You must pick up your players package Friday 11-6 , or Saturday 8-4 at City Park,

FRIDAY Sept 28 – CITY PARK POOL: Amateur Players package pick-up open 11am-6pm in the building by hole 18.

FRIDAY Sept 28: (OPEN TO ANY PLAYER): 11am – 4pm tee off. Madisonville City Park Flex Start PDGA C-TIER

$25 entry, All divisions available, show up and we will put you in a group.

One round of 18 holes – check in and day of show registration at building by hole 18.

ALL amateur players receive a custom stamped Disc

Amateur Prizes for top 45% in each division: Top 40% Pro get 100% payback

SATURDAY Sept 30 – MAHR PARK POOL: Tee times start at 9am. Tee times posted on PDGA results page. Check in with starter at hole 1 / practice basket area 15 minutes prior to your tee time.

SATURDAY Sept 30 – CITY PARK POOL:

8-9am: Check in and players package pick up at building by hole 18. Hole assignments on PDGA results page.

9:30am: Tee Off at assigned hole for Round 1.

2:00pm: Tee Off at assigned hole for Round 2.

SUNDAY October 1 – MAHR PARK POOL: Tee times start at 9am. Tee times posted on PDGA results page. Check in with starter at hole 1 / practice basket area 15 minutes prior to your tee time.

Prizes awarded upon conclusion of each division at hole 18.

Amateurs may pick out prizes at City Park after their round, or get on line credit at Disc Golf United.

Pros who cash please be sure to email your prefered PayPal email address.

Top 4 in each Pro division may pick up a check on site or get PayPal (G&S fees applied).

Tee order by divisions: Advanced Men 70+, 65+, 60+, Recreational, Novice, Jr., All amateur women

Prizes awarded after each division completes their round in building by hole 18.

Winners may pick out prizes on site, or get on line Disc Golf United credit.
